Evaluation Guidelines
Evaluations should be conducted by all Senior officials to any new offiicials,
and each senior official must carry out at least 10 evaluations throughout
the year. Evaluations are a way to help newer officials take their game
to the next level, and find out what areas of their refereeing may need
improvement. Evaluations can be conducted by the senior official either
on or off the floor with the junior official, and can be claimed on
a paysheet for their efforts.
All evaluations, once completed, are to be sent to the Referee-in-Chief
in your city. Once this is done, the evaluation will be sent to the
province's Referee-in-Chief. Please remember that part of your role
as tournament Referee-in-Chief is to conduct evaluations, but these
evaluations will not count. Please also remember that you can conduct
an on-floor evaluation with an official and be paid for your evaluation.
If you are interested in mentoring or newer officials in your area,
please Email the Referee-in-Chief in your area. Executive member names
can be found by clicking here.
